Vancouver-based PeaceHealth was recently named one of the Healthiest 100 Workplaces in America and the Healthiest Employer in Washington for organizations with 5,000 or more employees.
The awards come from Healthiest Employers and Springbuk, with more than 10,000 employers across the country participating in the awards program.
The award process measures employee participation, health outcomes, leadership commitment and more.
PeaceHealth’s wellness program focuses on the financial health, nutrition, stress management and physical fitness of its employees, according to a company press release.
PeaceHealth ranked 30th overall, and was one of three healthy systems in the Pacific Northwest in this year’s national designation. This is the third year in a row PeaceHealth has made the national list, and the second year in a row to receive the top ranking in Washington.
“We couldn’t be prouder of our caregivers who truly live our culture of wellness and are changing the fabric of our communities,” said Joline Treanor, PeaceHealth executive vice president of people and culture.
