The Clark County Law Library is extending residents’ access to a remote, self-help legal database through Jan. 31, 2022.

The database, known as NOLO, provides people seeking legal help more than 200 self-help titles covering topics such as business, family, immigration, real estate, court procedures and estate planning.

County residents can access the database on the county’s website at https://clark.wa.gov/law-library.

The Law Library originally offered access to the database on a trial basis that ended last month.

“We are purchasing the one-year subscription of NOLO because we had such a great response to the trial offer,” Law Librarian Maria Sosnowski said. “We are glad to be able to offer a resource that people are excited about using.”

Law Library staff will track the analytics of the webpage to see if there is enough interest to possibly keep it longer.
