Woodland Public Schools welcomes Trish Huddleston as the elected representative for the Director District 4 board position. Huddleston was to be sworn in during the regular board meeting on Dec. 16.

Huddleston graduated from Camas School District and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from DeVry University in Phoenix, Ariz. She moved to Woodland in 2020 with her son, Devon, who currently attends Woodland High School, her daughter, Sierra, who is homeschooled in fifth grade.

Huddleston’s goals as board director include providing transparent communications with the community to ensure parents and families can stay up-to-date on school operations. Huddleston replaces Tammy Graham in the Director District 4 position. Graham served in the role from February 2020 to November 2021

John Rose and Gabe Jacobsen joined Clark College Foundation’s Board of Directors in November.

Rose, of Ridgefield, is the owner and principal managing broker of Rose Realty. He’s been a certified appraiser since 2003 and a licensed realtor since 2010. He is a Washington state-certified real estate instructor and board member of Clark County’s Board of Equalization. He serves on the board of the planning commission for the city of Ridgefield, Clark County’s Association of Realtors and Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce.

Rose attended Clark College in 1990 and 1991. He also studied at the University of Arizona and Florida State University. He served in the U.S. Air Force for six years and is an active member of the Ridgefield Post 44 American Legion.

Jacobsen, of Vancouver, is a management consultant leader at Accenture, a provider of business, technology and operations strategy services. In his role, Jacobsen helps global clients identify, plan and manage significant opportunities. He has also served as an adviser and business leader for several local companies including Jacobsen Salt Co., which his brother, Ben Jacobsen, founded in 2011. Previously, Jacobsen worked at Ernst & Young Global Limited, a multinational professional services company and Big Four accounting firm, and as an analyst at HSBC, an international bank.

He earned an MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago, a bachelor’s in economics from the University of California-Irvine and completed coursework at the University of Oslo in Norway.
