Burgerville union ratifies contract

Burgerville and a workers union that represents some Oregon locations have approved a labor contract, the first for fast-food workers in the country, according to a company announcement on Friday.

The contract included wage increases that would pay all hourly employees at least 25 cents an hour more than the minimum wage requirement, depending on their location in Washington or Oregon, until the minimum wage is $15.
