Authorities locate 87-year-old man who went missing in Vancouver

UPDATE: The Vancouver Police Department reported at about 11 a.m. that Leland Robertson was located by the Washington State Police. A police statement said Roberson was safe and was being reunited with his family.


The Vancouver Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance locating an elderly man who went missing early Friday morning.

A police statement said Leland Robertson, 87, left his home driving a silver-gray 2015 Subaru Forester with Washington plates AWU5434.

Robertson was last seen at PeaceHealth Southwest Washington Medical Center at 3:20 a.m. Friday, the statement said. His family said he has health and hearing problems and gets lost easily. He was last wearing a blue coat and blue jeans.
