Shorty’s becomes Dennis’ 7 Dees

Garden center now bears name of Portland company that has owned it for last 5 years

Shoppers at Shorty’s Garden Center on Southeast Mill Plain Boulevard on Vancouver will notice changes next time they stop in the store, most notably the store sign being replaced by one that reads Dennis’ 7 Dees.

Shorty’s, 10006 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd., has been owned by the Portland-based garden center and landscaping chain for the past five years, said Kelley Kenyon, general manager of Dennis’ 7 Dees retail division and the company’s marketing manager.
