With days getting darker, Vancouver gazebos and picnic shelters will be closed to the public from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. beginning Dec. 10. Longer hours will resume when daylight saving time begins on March 14, 2022.
The following locations will be affected:
- Arnada Park, 610 E. 25th St.
- David Douglas Park, 1016 N. Garrison Rd.
- Esther Short Park, 605 Esther St.
- Evergreen Park, 3500 E. Fourth Plain Blvd.
- Fisher Basin Park, 601 S.E. 192nd Ave.
- LeRoy Haagen Memorial Park, Northeast Ninth Street.
- Leverich Park, 4400 N.E. Leverich Park Way.
- Marine Park ,4501 S.E. Columbia Way.
- Marshall Park ,1069 E. McLoughlin Blvd.
- Shumway Park, 3014 F St.
