The Washington State Department of Transportation is seeking input from local drivers to decide how road crews will close state Highway 500 in order to build a new roundabout at the highway’s intersection with Northeast 182nd Avenue in East Vancouver.

In order to complete the project, crews will need to close the intersection of Highway 500, which is also Northeast Fourth Plain Boulevard in that area, and 182nd Avenue. The department wants feedback from travelers who use the intersection to determine what times and what length of closures would be least disruptive.

Those wanting to comment can take the survey at surveymonkey.com/r/7YN9LTL. Input can also be given by phone or email to Susan Fell at swrcceo@wsdot.wa.gov or 360-905-1500, or by mail to WSDOT’s Clark County Engineering office, 11018 N.E. 51st Circle, Vancouver, WA 98682.
