A shooting threat made on social media against Pacific Middle School in east Vancouver was found not to be credible Tuesday, according to district officials in Evergreen Public Schools.
Families were notified around 1 p.m. of an investigation launched that morning by Pacific staff, campus security and Evergreen’s security director.
Posts on Twitter said administration temporarily asked students and staff to stay in their classrooms while the threat was assessed. School officials subsequently reached out to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.
