The Vancouver Police Department is investigating after a man was found dead Sunday night in the Bagley Downs neighborhood.
Officers responded at about 11:45 p.m. for a call of suspicious circumstances in the 3500 block of Northeast 50th Court, according to a police department news release.
An area resident said they heard a loud noise and saw their neighbor lying in the doorway of his residence, the news release states.
Arriving officers determined the man was dead, police said. His identity was not released.
The police department’s Major Crimes Unit is investigating.
