The Salmon Creek Farmers’ Market has moved its Tuesday market to the Salmon Creek Grange, 1900 N.E. 154th St., Salmon Creek. The market, which was previously held at Kaiser Permanente Salmon Creek Medical Office, will be open every Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Oct. 5.

Kaiser Permanente is closing all its on-site farmers markets in the region due to increased COVID-19 activity, said Ann Foster, organizer of the Salmon Creek Farmer’s Market.

The market will maintain the same hours and offerings through the rest of the 2021 season. Visitors to the Salmon Creek Farmers’ Market, now in its 10th year, can find seasonal fruits and vegetables, flowers, honey, processed foods such as fruit juices, nuts and nut butters, bagels and baked goods. The market accepts SNAP customers and offers an up-to $40 Market Match on SNAP transactions on fruits, vegetables, edible plants, mushrooms and herbs. Both WIC and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program checks are also accepted by most vendors.
