WOODLAND — A woman was struck by a tractor-trailer on southbound Interstate 5 north of Woodland on Tuesday night, according to the Washington State Patrol. Traffic was shut down for more than an hour for the response and investigation.
She was struck by the semi just before 8:30 p.m. near the Dike Access Road exit, and suffered life-threatening injuries, Finn said. Life Flight was called and she was transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center.
Her identity has not been released, and no other information was available.
The driver of the semi, Jeff C. Dunn of Tacoma, was not injured and is cooperating with WSP.
