Southbound Interstate 5 travelers in northern Clark County will need to plan ahead for congestion and delays starting this weekend.
Beginning Sunday night, paving work will shift southbound traffic into two narrow lanes between Woodland and La Center. The lane reduction will be in place for three weeks as contractor Granite Construction works to rehabilitate a nearly 2-mile stretch of the highway.
Intermittent double lane closures are possible between 7:30 p.m. and 9 a.m. The speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph throughout the work zone.
