CAMAS — The Downtown Camas Association was presented a $3,600 donation from members of 100 Women Who Care Clark County on March 15. The association’s executive director, Carrie Schulstad, and board president Sarah Laughlin accepted the funds.
The association was selected for the donations during its first meeting of the year and nominated by Schulstad. The mission of the Downtown Camas Association is to help promote and develop the downtown area.
“When the town center has a healthy heart, it changes the heart of the whole community,” Schulstad said in a news release.
100 Women Who Care Clark County is a club that meets quarterly and has donated more than $100,000 to local nonprofit organizations, according to the release. Meetings are continuing to be held via Zoom until in-person meetings can resume.
