MINNEHAHA – No-kill cat shelter Furry Friends raised $8,956 during its second annual “Not Kitten Around” auction, held online. “You all weren’t kitten around this year!” a news release said. “With the amount we raised, this will allow us to spay or neuter approximately 132 more cats within the community. This is so important because spay/neuter helps protect cats against certain illnesses, prevents unwanted or uncared-for litters, and saves lives by reducing overpopulation. Thanks to you, we are doing our part to help Washington state become a no-kill state by 2025.”

Furry Friends, a nonprofit founded in 1999, serves Clark County and adjacent counties. Learn more at www.furryfriendswa.org, email information@furryfriendswa.org or call 360-993-1097.
