The Washougal Arts and Culture Alliance seeks artists to create a mural on the south-facing exterior wall of Los Dos Compadres Cantina, 1713 E St.

The mural, which aims to improve the commercial area of E Street, should reflect the diverse spirit of Washougal, especially Indigenous history or Hispanic culture. The property owner will help choose the winning design.

Artists can submit proposals until June 1, and the winning artist will be notified June 15. Completion is expected by the end of summer. For application guidelines, go to www.washougalarts.org.
