The Humane Society for Southwest Washington’s Walk/Run for the Animals is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 1 in downtown Vancouver.
This event will feature a socially distanced, dog- and kid-friendly walking route with optional stops for food, giveaways and entertainment. Masks are required for all participants. Runners can run a 5K any time during the week before May 1.
Registration fees are $45 through April 25, $50 from April 26-30 or $55 on event day, May 1. Kids 12 and younger are free with registered adults. Register at hssw.org/walk-run.
