Dog Owners Group for Park Access Washington, or DOGPAW, brings its final park cleanup of the season from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 3 at Kane Dog Park, 10910 N.E. 172nd Ave. Volunteers meet rain or shine to maintain trails and undertake special projects. Bring work gloves and yard tools. Cleanups will be suspended after the Kane effort, but will resume in March 2021. For more information email volunteer@dogpawoffleashparks.org, or visit dogpawoffleashparks.org.

FISH Westside Food Pantry of Vancouver seeks volunteers for all positions and shifts at the food pantry. Shifts run from 9 a.m. to noon or noon to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays. Flexible-hour options are also available to accommodate individual schedules. Volunteers prepackage food boxes and fresh produce packets in our safe, secure warehouse or perform administrative processing (sign in) for our food pantry clients. Interested parties may contact Dori Miller at 360-566-3243. Masks are required and will be provided if necessary.
