MEADOW HOMES — Sharlene Smith Schollmeyer has been hard at work, sewing fabric masks for various organizations throughout Clark County, including Share, a nonprofit that helps people find housing. Since March, she has sewn 1,233 masks, according to a Sept. 23 post on Share’s Facebook page. The masks have been donated to a variety of organizations, including PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, YWCA Clark County, Janus Youth Programs, Clark County Sheriff’s Office, the state of Washington, and most recently, to Share. “Thank you, Sharlene, for your time and for caring about the health of our community members!” the Facebook post reads.
