The final tally after Thursday’s midnight-to-midnight giving marathon, Give More 24!, was $2,891,280. A total of 6,618 individual donors contributed to 225 regional nonprofits.
Homeless service provider Share raised the most money among large organizations, $96,614 from 222 donors. Options360 Women’s Clinic raised $88,856 from 166 donors, the most of any medium-sized organization. And, among small organizations, iUrban Teen, a STEM and arts education program, garnered $56,613 from 170 donors.
Camas Christian Academy, Lower Columbia School Gardens and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School attracted the greatest number of donors.
This was the seventh and most successful year of Give More 24!, a day of giving that benefits charities in Clark, Cowlitz and Skamania counties.
