Clark County reported 30 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday and no new deaths since Sept. 11, according to Clark County Public Health.

The new cases brings the county’s total to 3,056 cases to date, with 53 fatalities associated with COVID-19, according to Public Health.

There are 24 people hospitalized with COVID-19 and 13 people hospitalized awaiting test results, according to Public Health. There are currently 147 active cases still in their 10-day isolation period.

Demographic data released by Public Health earlier this week showed that people in their 30s accounted for the largest number of new COVID-19 cases in the seven days ending Sept. 14 with 35 cases, or 19 percent of the 181 cases reported during that period.

The next largest share of COVID-19 cases was people in their 40s, with 33 cases or 18 percent of the total, followed by people in their 20s, with 30 new cases or 17 percent of the total.

People in their 20s had been the most numerous number of COVID-19 cases in previous weeks. They still account for the largest share of COVID-19 cases over time.

In other age groups for the seven days ending Sept. 14, in descending order of cases: people age 80 or older, 15 new cases (8 percent); people in their 70s, 13 new cases (7 percent), youths age 10-19, 9 new cases (5 percent) and children age 9 and under, 9 new cases (5 percent).
