Clark County is seeking applications for three vacancies on the Parks Advisory Board.

The three-year terms on the seven-member board begin Jan. 1, according to a county news release. The board advises the Clark County Council and county staff on parks planning, acquisition, development and other issues.

Board members meet on the second Thursday of each month from 4 to 6 p.m., typically at the Public Works Operations Center, 4700 N.E. 78th St., Building B1.

Volunteers from different ethnic, cultural and social backgrounds with a passion for parks and knowledge of recreational facilities are encouraged to apply. Applicants can submit a brief letter of interest and resume to Michelle Pfenning in the Clark County Manager’s Office, P.O. Box 5000, Vancouver, 98666-5000 or by email at michelle.pfenning@clark.wa.gov.

Applications are due 5 p.m. Oct. 30.
