Legacy Health will offer multiple free flu shot clinics in Vancouver in November.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s more important to get a flu shot this year, so you don’t contribute to strain on the hospital system.

From 1 to 7 p.m. Nov. 3 and 10, Legacy Salmon Creek, 2211 N.E. 139th St., Vancouver, will offer a flu shot clinic in the main lobby. From 1 to 7 p.m. Nov. 6, The Family Wellness Clinic, 1000 S.E. Tech Center Drive, Suite 120, will offer free flu shots.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend anyone over the age of 6 months get a flu shot every year.

No insurance is required. Those under 15 years old need a guardian present. Legacy Health medical clinics and hospitals follow public health guidelines that include temperature screenings, physical distancing and masks. Flu vaccine options meet every need: egg-free, high-dose, preservative-free, latex-free, 4-strain.

“Getting a flu shot now is the best way to keep yourself and your family safe and healthy this season,” said Dr. Holly Tse, Legacy Health medical home director.
