Initial regular unemployment insurance claims filed in Clark County last week decreased from 805 to 656, down 19 percent from the week before, according to the Washington Employment Security Department.
The county’s drop in claims outpaced the state as a whole, which had a 15.9 percent drop, decreasing from 16,890 to 14,198 claims.
