Clark County residents have a no-cost option to dispose of leaves falling in yards this fall.

Residents can dispose up to 5 cubic yards of leaves for free with coupons through the end of the year from the city of Vancouver and Clark County Public Works, according to a news release from the county. Leaves mixed with other yard debris are subject to regular disposal fees.

Coupons must be filled out in advance and brought to one of four locations:

 H & H Wood Recyclers, 8401 N.E. 117th Ave., 360-892-2805

 McFarlane’s Bark, 8806 N.E. 117th Ave., 360-892-6125

Triangle Resources, 612 S.E. Union St., Camas, 360-834-7253

West Van Materials Recovery Center, 6601 N.W. Old Lower River Road, 360-737-1727

Coupons are not available for in-person pickup due to COVID-19 restrictions. They can be downloaded at https://clarkgreenneighbors.org/en/green-blog/free-leaf-disposal-1. To receive a coupon in the mail, contact Vancouver Solid Waste at 360-487-7160 or solidwaste@cityofvancouver.us.

Residents are encouraged not to sweep leaves into streets, as they can cause clogging in storm drains. To report clogged drains or flooding on busy streets outside city limits, contact Clark County Public Works at 564-397-2446.
