Clark County tied records for most new COVID-19 cases and deaths this weekend in the latest data released by Clark County Public Health.
Three people died over the weekend from COVID-19, bringing the total death toll from the disease to 69. There have been 10 deaths so far this month.
The fatalities were a man in his 70s with no underlying health conditions, a woman over age 80 with no underlying health conditions and a woman over age 80 with underlying health conditions, according to Public Health.
The deaths, the first since Oct. 21, are the third time Public Health has reported three deaths in a single report. The first was April 6, with three deaths reported in a single day, and the second was July 30, which like Monday’s report counted deaths that occurred since the previous Friday.
