Clark County had its 911 service restored after a brief outage Thursday.
The Washington Emergency Management Division reported around 4:30 p.m. that it was receiving widespread reports from counties in western and eastern parts of the state that 911 systems were down.
Clark Regional Emergency Services Agency and local law enforcement agencies in Clark County confirmed shortly thereafter that its systems have been impacted.
The state department’s coordination office began working to get systems back online, and things were up and running again within a half-hour.
A cause for the outage has yet to be determined.
