A $5 million project to improve safety at the angled, yet perpetually busy intersection of Northeast Highway 99 and Northeast 99th Street is well underway.
The project, which is due to wrap up by Oct. 18, will provide wider lanes, more medians and bicycle lanes to keep 30,000 vehicles per day better sorted and distanced.
