VANCOUVER — The Greater Vancouver Chamber celebrated its annual Business & Leadership Awards on Sept. 22, via a virtual livestream presented by Port of Vancouver USA. More than 1,200 people tuned into the event via YouTube and Facebook to see the winners revealed. Winners were: Paul Christensen, president of Realvest Corp., John S. McKibbin Leadership Legacy Award; Sen. Lynda Wilson, 17th Legislative District, Statesperson of the Year Award; WellHaven Pet Health, Community Champion of the Year Award; Allen Gabriel, Start Up to Watch Award; Peninsula Glass, Small Business of the Year Award; and ilani, Large Business of the Year Award. This year the chamber replaced its traditional “dessert dash” to raise funds for the Small Business Grant Program by selling a VIP Celebration Experience for virtual watch parties.
