Emergency crews are clearing a multiple-vehicle crash Friday night on Interstate 5 southbound at milepost 12, the second in the span of seven hours that closed multiple lanes each.
The crash happened at about 8:50 p.m., according to the Washington State Department of Transportation. It’s unknown if there are any injuries.
The crash was cleared and lanes were reopened at about 9:50 p.m.
At about 2 p.m., crews finished clearing another nearby northbound crash near La Center.
Collision on SB I-5 near SR 502 at mp 12. Use caution in the area and expect delays. Traffic is backing up quickly.
