The Portland Police Bureau, with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is seeking the public’s help in solving a 2015 homicide of a 19-year-old Vancouver man.

North Precinct officers were dispatched shortly after 2 a.m. Nov. 12, 2015, to the intersection of North Bruce Avenue and Hudson Street for a report of a man down in the street, bleeding and unconscious, according to a Crime Stoppers press release.

The victim, Dalton Marshall, was pronounced dead at the scene from an apparent gunshot wound. The Oregon State Medical Examiner conducted an autopsy and ruled his death a homicide, the press release states.

Detectives say they believe Marshall may have been socializing along Portland’s North Interstate Avenue in the hours before his death. There’s no suspect information and no known motive for the killing.

Crime Stoppers of Oregon offers cash rewards of up to $2,500 for information that leads to an arrest in any unsolved felony, and tipsters can remain anonymous. To submit a tip, download P3 Tips from the app store, go online to www.p3tips.com/823 or call 503-823-4357.
