Just in time for Friday’s 80-degree sunshine, Washougal’s Sandy Swimming Hole Park reopened to the public after being closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
A small group of people — and a gaggle of geese — were on hand for the occasion.
“I feel good about being outside, but I have my mask in my purse,” said Susanna Salvador of Vancouver. Like Salvador, many people were following social distancing guidelines both in the water and on the shore.
