Vancouver police seek help finding missing woman, 57

Police say Renee Forest suffers from short-term memory loss

Updated 8:08 a.m. May 24: Renee Forest was located and returned home safely, the Vancouver Police Department announced early Sunday morning.


The Vancouver Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a woman who went missing Friday.

Renee Forest, 57, was last seen about 3 p.m. in the 3200 block of Northeast 49th Street in Vancouver, according to a department news release.

Police say Forest takes daily medication and suffers from short-term memory loss.

She is described as being white, standing 5-feet-5-inches tall and weighing 100 pounds, with green eyes, and brown and gray hair, the news release states.

When she was last seen, she was wearing a blue down jacket, dark-colored pants, a shirt, and pink and white shoes.

Anyone with information about Forest’s whereabouts should contact the Vancouver Police Department.
