PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center has received a major infusion of helpful resources since the coronavirus pandemic began.
Hundreds of businesses and individuals have donated supplies, food and money, resulting in:
• More than $100,000 in food donations from more than 50 individuals, businesses and organizations totaling 72 food deliveries of 20,000 meals, beverages and snacks.
• Hundreds of cards and letters from the community.
• Outerwear donated by Columbia Sportswear for the Emergency Department team.
• External signs donated by vendors including a, “Heroes Work Here” sign in the front lawn and a “Heroes Enter Here” banner at a hospital entrance.
• Numerous campus parades and drive by events including First Responders/VPD, North County Classic Car Club, Air National Guard Flyover, and Patriot Guard Riders.
