Clark County Public Health announced the county’s 25th COVID-19 death Friday morning. A woman who was 80 or older is the latest person in Clark County to die from the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.
This is the first COVID-19 death reported in Clark County since Monday. At least 7,003 people have been tested in Clark County.
Seventeen of the county’s deaths have been to people 80 and older. A person in their 40s is the only person younger than 60 to die of COVID-19 in Clark County.
Public Health also announced two new COVID-19 cases Friday morning, which pushes the county to 401 confirmed cases.
There were 11 confirmed cases Monday, seven cases Tuesday, two cases Wednesday and four cases Thursday.
