Clark County sheriff’s deputies are investigating an attempted robbery and assault that resulted in the victim being taken to a hospital.

Deputies were dispatched at 10:11 p.m. Sunday to the intersection of Northeast 121st Avenue and 65th Street for a report of a robbery that just occurred. Emergency dispatch logs show Vancouver firefighters also responded to the scene for a stabbing victim.

Sgt. Brent Waddell said in an email that the incident was an attempted robbery in which the victim was attacked and cut with a knife.

The suspect is unknown and still at large, Waddell said. The victim was treated at the hospital and released, he said.
