FAIRWAY/164TH — Residents at the assisted living facility Touchmark at Fairway Village were treated to a Royal Rodeo Parade in April. Clark County Fair Queen Rachel Sherrell, who also is a certified medication aide at Touchmark, saddled up with her co-workers Emily Wagner and Sara Beeks. Patty Gallegos, a receptionist at Touchmark and the 1976 queen of the Ritzville Rodeo, wore her old crown and sash. Staff and residents wore Western attire and one staff member sang through a portable sound system. The parade went through all the buildings and homes as residents waved. “The dose of fun was a ray of sunshine for residents honoring the stay-home guideline,” a press release from the facility said.
