Herrera Beutler to be part of live debate on Facebook over federal aid package

'Virtual Congress' debate scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Thursday

A bipartisan group of 24 members of Congress, including Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler, R-Battle Ground, will hold a debate broadcast on Facebook about the upcoming federal aid package.

The Problem Solvers Caucus includes 12 Democrats and 12 Republicans. The “virtual Congress” debate is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, when lawmakers will discuss the upcoming wave of CARES funding to ease the impacts of COVID-19.
