We managed to squeak out another 70-degree day Monday before the clouds and sprinkles moved in. The first couple of days this month were cool with all the rain, which leaves us about 3 degrees below average for the month.
With those anticipated 80-degree days coming up, we’ll take care of that in short fashion. With offshore winds and low humidity late this week, I’m going for near 80 on Thursday and low to mid-80s Friday and Saturday. Marine air seeps inland Sunday for cooler temperatures into the 70s. After that, more showers may be in the offing.
With our current situation it is difficult to get back to a familiar routine and the days seem to run together for me. At least the weather breaks it up with showers one day and warm and sunny another.
Have you looked around at all the flowers and blossoms popping out? Despite a dry April and lack of April showers, we are still enjoying a colorful landscape.
