Clark County Public Health confirmed two new COVID-19 cases Friday morning, the lowest number of daily reported cases in a month.
The county has 361 confirmed cases and 21 deaths; no new deaths have been reported since Monday. Friday’s count is the lowest number of daily reported cases, since April 2, when one new case was reported.
This week Clark County added 12 new cases Monday (which include results from the weekend), four cases Tuesday and eight cases each on Wednesday and Thursday.
At least 4,268 people have been tested in Clark County.
There are still 70 confirmed cases in long-term care facilities in Clark County.
State and county data shows that hospitalizations have decreased in recent weeks.
According to Public Health data from Thursday, 13 people were hospitalized for COVID-19, and two people were in an intensive care unit. On April 20, there were 21 people hospitalized in Clark County for COVID-19, and five people in the ICU.
