The Clark County Council has prohibited physical public access at its meeting Tuesday, opting for a virtual-only format to curb the spread of COVID-19.
Councilors will still meet at 6 p.m. in the sixth-floor hearing room of the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St., Vancouver, according to a news release from the county. Clark/Vancouver Television will livestream the meeting at www.cvtv.org and Channel 23.
Public comment on consent, separate business and public hearing items can be submitted through a form at www-dev.clark.wa.gov/councilors/public-comment. Comments will be provided to councilors and entered into the public record. Public hearing comments will be read aloud at the meeting.
County staff will participate in the meetings through conference calls.
The council also canceled work sessions through April 22. Staffers have been directed to only schedule meeting items that are time-sensitive.
