Clark Regional Wastewater District has joined other utilities in waiving charges for late payments during the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak.
The district also closed its doors to the public, effective Thursday, with access by appointment only. Public use of meeting rooms is suspended, excluding public meetings of the district’s board of commissioners.
District General Manager John Peterson issued a formal emergency declaration Wednesday.
District staff will remain on duty, although some may be working remotely. Employees can be contacted via email and phone, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Information on engineering and development review, along with side sewer and inspection, is available on the district’s website, www.crwwd.com.
