Clark County Public Works has closed several public meeting spaces and facilities in response to COVID-19.
Luke Jensen Sports Park, 4000 N.E. 78th St., is closed to all activities. Private rentals scheduled during the closure are canceled and will be fully refunded, according to a county news release.
Other county parks and trails remain open, though social distancing protocols are highly recommended. However, regular cleaning and sanitizing of parks amenities may be disrupted due to limited capacity and safety protocols for staff.
Questions about parks can be asked at 564-397-2285 or parks@clark.wa.gov.
The front desk reception areas at the county’s Public Service Center — fourth floor, 1300 Franklin St., Vancouver — and the Operations Office at 4700 N.E. 78th St. have also been closed. Closures will be reevaluated April 1.
Public Works Survey Department customers can call 564-397-4228 or email surveyreview@clark.wa.gov to arrange drop-off or pickup of documents. Staff will continue to work on essential projects in a manner that minimizes public interaction.
Urgent road concerns can be reported at 564-397-2446 or online at www.clark.wa.gov/public-works/report-park-road. Other questions can be asked at 564-397-4094.
Some activities at the 78th Street Heritage Farm are suspended, while others will be limited. Regular farm users are advised to contact their specific program to verify scheduled and canceled activities.
