Vancouver-based industrial laser manufacturer nLIGHT intends to move its headquarters to a new facility in Camas.

According to a Monday filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, nLIGHT will purchase the commercial property at 4637 N.W. 18th Ave. in Camas from Sharp Electronics Corporation.

The property consists of approximately 21.4 acres of land housing two office and manufacturing buildings with a combined 164,596 square feet of space, according to the SEC filing.

The roughly $12.2 million transaction is expected to close no later than March 31.

nLIGHT intends to renovate and modify the property and eventually use it as a new headquarters.

nLIGHT could not be reached for comment Monday.
