Clark County deputies investigate homicide in Hazel Dell

Clark County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a homicide that occurred early this morning at an apartment in Northeast Hazel Dell.

Deputies responded at 1:48 a.m. to Teal Pointe apartments at 10405 N.E. Ninth Ave., on a report of a possible suicide, according to a Clark County Sheriff’s Office news release.

Following an initial investigation, deputies determined a homicide likely occurred, according to the news release. The sheriff’s office did not identify the victim.

Clark County Major Crimes Team deputies arrested Korbin Bourn, 20, on suspicion of first-degree manslaughter and unlawful possession of a firearm.

The sheriff’s office provided no additional information.

Online records show Bourn is in custody at the Clark County Jail.
