Crossover crash on state Highway 14 kills Stevenson woman

A 57-year-old Stevenson woman was killed Thursday afternoon in a crossover crash on state Highway 14 near North Bonneville, according to the Washington State Patrol.

A bulletin from the state patrol said Terri L. Hazard was driving a 2005 Lexus ES sedan west on the highway near milepost 36 about 2:18 p.m. when her vehicle went over the centerline and struck the side of one eastbound truck, then continued on and struck the side of as second eastbound truck.

A passenger in Hazard’s vehicle, William L. Hazard, 77, of Carson was injured and transported to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver. The drivers of the two trucks, Randall C. Grudzinski, 61, of Walla Walla and Christopher S. Chahon, 40, of Somers, Mont., were not injured.
