A rollover crash Tuesday afternoon blocked all of the southbound lanes of the Interstate 5 Bridge for nearly an hour.

The crash was reported at 1:23 p.m.

It’s unclear if anyone was injured, but firefighters were extricating one patient as of about 1:3o p.m., according to emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian.

The crash caused a traffic jam on southbound I-5 and westbound state Highway 14. By about 2:30 p.m., all lanes of traffic were open.

“Expect delays, and avoid the area if possible OR use I-205 as an alternate route,” the Washington State Department of Transportation wrote on Twitter.
