York Elementary School says, ‘Go Team!’

The Dairy Farmers of Washington and Seattle Seahawks visited the school to celebrate their new cafeteria milk dispensers. The self-serve milk dispensers, which use washable cups, will help reduce the school’s environmental impact. York Elementary School is the first school to participate in this program. “York Elementary set the example that five other schools in Clark County have followed,” said Michelle Sanow, Green Schools environmental outreach specialist. “Our goal was to make this the norm and their ‘can do’ attitude made the change possible.”
