We managed to squeeze in a fairly nice day Wednesday after a few brief early morning showers that basically amounted to nothing. Today we have another fair-weather day with increasing clouds in the afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 50s to near 60 degrees.
With clouds on the horizon can rain be far behind? Nope, showers will increase overnight and on Friday but amounts will be light until a stronger weather system moves inland Saturday. Then just like last weekend things dry out Sunday.
Next week appears it will be pleasant Monday through Wednesday with seasonable temperatures. Our high March 4 was fairly close to the average of 55 degrees, with 56 degrees.
With only .01 of an inch of rain Wednesday and light amounts expected the next two days, we will keep the trend of below-average rainfall. The good news is snow depths in the Cascades are slightly above normal.
