Joshua Freed, a former Bothell mayor running as a Republican for Washington governor, is scheduled to be the keynote speaker at the March 19 meeting of Clark County Republican Women.
The meeting, which is open to the public, will be held at Club Green Meadows, 7703 N.E. 72nd Ave. The event will begin with a 6 p.m. social, followed by dinner at 6:40 p.m.
Cost is $24 for Clark County Republican Women members and $30 for guests. Advanced registration is required and can be done online at: clarkcountyrepublicanwomen.org.
Freed, a Kirkland native and Seattle Pacific University graduate, served for 12 years on the Bothell City Council. In 2017, the real estate developer led an initiative to ban safe-injection sites for heroin users in King County.
